Jumbo Ellepot Trees (JET)
This Jumbo Ellepot Tree has had its liner and much of the soil removed so you can see that amazing root development. All of the roots the trees grow are planted because they are never dug and broken.
Jumbo Ellepot Trees (JET)
One year old trees planted in the Ellepot™ growing system, made of a specialized, readily-degradable membrane, filled with growing media.
Delivery & Planting
These trees are budded in the winter and grown for the summer in a greenhouse setting to achieve maximum growth. These apple and cherry trees can be delivered dormant in late January or as a green growing tree after the threat of frost has passed.
These trees can be easily planted using a multi-row planting platform.
Water Needs
Best grown using drip irrigation, these will also do well with older style irrigation systems.
Quick Start
It is critical to handle these 3-5 month old green trees delicately. It is possible to pull out the growing bud or break the stem below the union which will render the tree useless.
Water as soon as they are in the ground.

From North American Plants (NAP), the Smart Pot utilizes the Ellepot brand of pots to create a quick turn tree that performs well when properly irrigated.
Delivery & Planting
These can be delivered as a larger 4’ – 5’ tall dormant or green growing tree when ordered up to a year in advance. They can also be delivered on shorter notice at anywhere between 18” and 36” tall.
Water Needs
Given diligent attention with properly timed drip irrigation, these trees grow very fast.
